The Panaga Crocs The Panaga Crocs are a rugby team comprising Expats, Shell Oil Employees, members of the local British Army Garrison and people from the local area. It is based at the Shell Panaga Sports Club in Brunei, on the Island of Borneo. The club facilities are on the coast of the South China Sea between the towns of Seria and Kuala Belait at the South Western end of Brunei itself. We play mainly 10-a-side competitions throughout South East Asia but also enter 7 and 15-a-side events if possible. We have had a successful last year winning trophies in Miri, Bali, Manila and more recently the British High Commission 10's, here in Brunei itself.
The majority of our games are outside Brunei on tour with competitions taking place almost once a month. We have players of all standards and encourage anyone to come along and play, even for the first time.
We train on a Thursday evening at the Panaga Padang at the sports club, from 5.15pm until around 6.15pm, depending on the level of exhaustion!! We also train on a Tuesday evening if a competition or game is looming.
